What If?

Question::
I'm Atheist and I have a question for all of you other Atheists out there. Do you ever ask yourself the question "what if there is a God?" If so, does it bother you? It is rare that this question pops into my head, but sometimes it does. What about you all? Have you made it to a point where it doesn't bother you anymore? Will there ever be a point where it won't bother you?

When i first realized i was

When i first realized i was an atheist, i questioned myself. The "what if" scenario came to mind a few times. But now i am completely comfortable with it. I feel that if somehow i am an idiot and there is this mystical man who rules all and condems me to hell for it, then at least i know i will have lived my life without fear or rules set by something that cannot be proven.

If there was a god, he would

If there was a god, he would not have created anything.

what if there was a god

if god was real, i would be very angry with god, very upset, very disappointed, filled with hatred for god. simply for what god DOES NOT do.

god does not talk to us
god does not show himself
god does not answer prayers
god does not cure the sick
god does not stop crime from happening
god does not help us
god does not guide us

according to the bible:
god does not lead a good example
god kills millions of people
god threatens people to burn forever if they don't worship him
god is really jealous of other gods
god is arrogent
god is unfair
god talks to people all the time and cures people and shows hiself and stops crime and helps people and guides people and answers prays ALL 2000 YEARS AGO, BUT NOT ANYMORE. HAS GOD RETIRED?

So in conclusion to "what if god was real", simple. I WOULD HATE HIM!

If there is a god

I have asked myself this question before; I found the answer to be mind-numbingly simple.
If there is a god, then I'm wrong.
This error is of no consequence unless there is some afterlife he also created and all who were skeptical and did not believe were sent to a realm of misery and torture while believers had it better.
While this is common in world religions, it is highly unlikely and based on an assumption that a creator would be selfish and illogical.
To think that a god would expect blind faith and punish infinitely for lack thereof is ridiculous; I find it infinitely less likely than even the existence of god.
Either way, I am proud that I do not believe anything simply out of cowardice, fear, or other solely emotional reasons. I am proud that I have much more rational criteria to believe something. If there's a god who had an absolute expectation that people believe he exists, he should probably consider creating some evidence.

I think god inspired the

I think god inspired the prophets to writhe the bible just to TEST us. If anyone really is sooo stupid and ready to violate his brain in such a high degree that allows him to believe in the christian god, i think god said to himself, i surely do not want to be with them in heaven so i'm gonna send those wo believed all their lives in that crap i gave them will be sent to hell and those who were clever enough to use their brain properly shall be rewarded in the afterlife.

you get the point? :)
